My name is Micaela.... My father is Italian but was born in Egypt and my mother in Switzerland; they met in Holland during a United Nations conference, and decided to marry and live in Italy. So 35 years ago I was born in Rome, to parents who were tourists themselves in Rome!! Moreover they were always talking different languages! As a result I got a degree in foreign languages, and then I travelled a lot - working as a flight stewerdess, and discovering my deep passion for art, history and.... talking! On the year 2000, after attending the Institute of the Roman Studies, I started guiding friends, and foreigners... And now it is rewarding to me as a guide, to see people on tour beginning to appreciate my city with new eyes, and with the same love I have for Rome.
